The VEC are supporting another
Puppetry course for adults in the Seán O’Casey Centre. Anyone from 18 to 100+ years is welcome to drop in to the classes to get a taster or to take all ten to
learn to make and use puppets. Last year we made shadow, rod and hand puppets, carved from foam, improvised, and put together a short show which we performed for the Daisy Days Creche. If people prefer not to perform publicly however there are plenty of other roles needed in the production. No experience in either making or performing is necessary, it is really about enjoying yourself, working as a group and enjoying learning about puppets. It will run
Wednesdays 1.30 - 3.30 pm from the 9th of February until Easter. There is a small cost to cover materials and tea and coffee: €4 a class or €30 if you pay in advance for 10.
